The ISTH 2024 Congress, Bangkok, Thailand 22/06/2024 - 26/06/2024, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 18.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

 

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Complete your CME evaluation and claim credits for the ISTH 2024 Congress by following these steps:
DEADLINE: August 31, 2024, 11:59 pm US Eastern Time

 

CME credits are only available to those who have registered and paid for the CME add-on during the registration process. You may purchase the CME add-on in order to claim credits for the ISTH 2024 Congress either online or on-site at the main registration desk on or before the close of day on June 26, 2024. Using your Congress badge, scan into each CME eligible session within 5 minutes of the start of the session. Scanners are located at the session room entrances.

1. Login to the online Program Planner (login link is on the top right side of the planner page next to the Search bar) with your Congress Registrant ID (this can be found in your registration confirmation email)

2. Once logged in, click on “CME Evaluation” on the left side menu (note this button will be available after the start of the first session)

3. You will be directed to the evaluation site and may be prompted to complete a consent form

4. Complete both the “Overall Evaluation” and individual “Session Evaluations”, make sure your entries are saved and the tasks have a green check mark to indicate that they are complete

 

The ISTH will email personalized CME certificates to those who completed all evaluations and paid the $25 USD CME credit fee by the end of September 2024.
